Strawberry Shortcake - Holly Hobbie - Ziggy (in a Santa's Hat) circa 1982

SOLD

New Listing with only 6 days left to purchase at Hard Core Thrifft Store on eBay

This great set of 3 signs are cardboard and originally intended for point of sale items possible card shop since set of three; Strawberry Shortcake, Holly Hobbie and Ziggy. This Strawberry Shortcake sign and other 2 each measures 14" x 32" shows minors signs of wear for age (1982). This set was a ceiling hanging double sided bunch of signs that were strung up and moved freely like a mobile. Holly Hobby has more wear than others but over all these are in pretty good shape and a very unusual item to find as a set since most stores throw out these kinds of promotional materials after the corporation gives them something else to put in its place for the next promotion. It is a shame. Just imaging how many graphic portrayals of beloved and iconic characters from our childhood are laying at the bottom of a landfill.

Most managers of retail store chains will save these kinds of posters and promotional items for you. All you have to do is ask and leave a number to be reached at so the manager can contact you when the promotional display has run its course and you can come pick them up.

Hard Core Thrift Store on eBay is dedicated to finding vintage items and bringing them to someone willing to give them a good home. Their mission statement is "find the long forgotten, once loved and unusual and bring it to a new home to be loved once again. Reduce, reuse and recycle!"
